HB COMMUNICATIONS TRADING, INC. (HBCTI) was incorporated under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines in June 1994. HBCTI is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under Registry No. ASO94-005224 and with the Bureau of Domestic Trade with Permit No. 0196070.
In 1994, Power Conversion Products Inc. (PCP), manufacturer of high quality switch mode rectifiers and DC power plants based in Crystal Lake, Illinois, USA appointed the company as the exclusive agent for their complete line of DC Power Systems. Because of the sales volume HBCTI generated for PCP products in less than a year, PCP held its Annual Asian Sales Meeting in Cebu City in October 1995 with HBCTI as the host agent.
In the same year, Northern Technologies Inc. (NTI) of Liberty Lake, Washington DC, USA, appointed HBCTI as exclusive agent for their Transient Voltage Surge Protection (TVSS) and Power Line Conditioner products. Also, Valmont Industries Inc., the largest steel finished product manufacturer in the USA, authorized HBCTI to represent their products for the telecommunication industry.
In 1995, Cell Site Corporation of Florida, USA, supplier / manufacturer of communication shelters, granted the company the exclusive authority to represent their products in the Philippines /Asia. Likewise, HBCTI was authorized by Interlink Power- Plus of Singapore to represent their "POWER” & "UNIGY" industrial batteries.
Over the years HBCTI has continually enhanced its services and product lines by strengthening its technical capabilities in the service group and acquiring representation of high quality, non-competing yet complementary product lines.
In 2005, the company was able to purchased a piece of land at AFP Officers Village in Taguig City and constructed its own building to accommodate a bigger repair service facilities manned by well-trained technical staff.
Since then, HBCTI became the representative of L3Harris Global Communications, Inc. and became the regular supplier of Harris Tactical Radio Equipment/Systems to the Armed Forces of the Philippines and Special Action Force of the Philippine National Police.
